Seth Lim

Advanced Control Systems Engineer

A control systems engineer with four years work experience as a research fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany. Seth led research projects at Fraunhofer, including coordinating EU research grants in cooperation with industry and universities across Europe and North America. He also worked at Rolls-Royce UTC as a researcher for modeling aircraft gas turbines. Seth holds two granted USPTO patents and several published USPTO patent applications. He is also the founder of an award-winning international rocketry team for the Spaceport America Cup 2018. Seth holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering at Cornell University (Ithaca, NY) and a Master Degree in Wind Energy at the Technical University of Denmark. Seth currently pursuing a PhD in control systems at the University of Sheffield, UK. He has a multi-cultural background with life and education spanning three continents. He speaks English, Spanish, German, and Korean fluently.
